Broken Rail Ranch Trail Rides - By appointment
It was my girlfriend's and my first time horse riding, and it was a beyond exceptional experience for us. Jeff and Crystal were absolutely wonderful hosts who made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour. By the end of it,we were even able to trot and canter with our horses. I highly recommend Broken Rail Ranch to anyone who's looking for both a unique and exciting experience!!!

We did the morning Lake View ride. It was fantastic. Our guide was kind, taught us tricks along the way. An overall enjoyable experience. Horses were fun and friendly. Tested our galloping and trotting with the horses. Would highly recommend this ranch for a trail ride !!

Awesome ranch. Loved the guide. Got first hand knowledge of the medicinal herbs and flowers in the area used by the Indigenous for centuries. Staff have a lot of love and compassion for their animals.

I went during the beginning of August. Me and my boyfriend came to the ranch. The staff is super friendly as i am a beginner (first time) for riding the horse. She is very patient teaching me how to control the horse for turning and stop. My horse name is kitty and she is very well trained and very friendly just walk very slow but in safe way! I had so much fun riding kitty and i would totally recommend people to come here. I would come back again ;)

Want an amazing trail riding experience? Care about fair treatment of horses? This is the place to go! Jeff and Crystal run such a wholesome ranch, and clearly care very deeply for their horses. I now live in Washington, but I happily travel the hours to come here and ride! I would recommend any person of any riding experience to ride here. Love you guys!!

My very first horseriding experience and I had a very positive experience here at Broken Rail Ranch. You can feel the care by the staff. Easily 5/5 for our trail ride experience.I think for the helmets (there aren’t many to choose from) and we almost couldn’t find one for both myself and my friend. It would be great if I could bring my own bicycle helmet. It would mean not having to pick from some very used-looking helmets.

i’ve really been wanting to go for a horseback ride they were fully booked last year when i tried to go in high season (didn’t realize you have to book everything in advance in the summer hahah) but i finally got to go! jeff and his wife are extremely friendly and funny. their horses are absolutely stunning and extremely good on the trails. i had close to zero experience and they made sure i was comfortable. i will definitely be back for more rides! highly recommend!

Lovely Ranch. Very kind, knowledgeable and passionate staff. You can tell the horses and animals are well loved and taken care of. The trail ride was amazing. I felt comfortable and the forest trail was GORGEOUS. Lots of great views. Loved that they provided proper boots and helmets. Can’t wait to be back.
