Champetre County Wild West Resort / Howling Coyote Saloon

We had my brothers wedding out at Champetre, and the experience was beyond phenomenal. From the food, to the hospitality, to the beautiful grounds and rustic setting, it was a truly fantastic time and I am sure our family will be back when others plan to get hitched! Thanks to Todd and the staff!

My boyfriend and I went out to Champetre for a Sunday afternoon picnic. We were greeted with a friendly smile, shown around, and supplied with a blanket, a picnic basket filled with snacks and a bottle of wine. We were told about some of the different places that would be best for a picnic and off we went. We were also welcomed to stick around afterwards and try out the maze, play games, or visit the animals. We had the most lovely afternoon and highly recommend visiting Champetre.

If I could give it 10 stars I would! The food was incredible and the hospitality was second to none. Francine take note, we definitely will be back!!

Awesome venue. Tons of character. Highly recommend for anyone considering hosting a wedding or event. Wonderful family that run/owns the property that goes out of their way to provide the best possible experience.

CL Electric has had the opportunity to do a few events at Champetre County. What's a pitch fork fondu!? (Steak + pitch fork + tub of deep-frying oil) We treated our staff to a delicious meal, a sleigh ride and some live entertainment last year for our Christmas party. This place is FANTASTIC option for a quick get away near Saskatoon. Great for small intimate gatherings or large events like a family reunion. You will not be disappointed.

I guess you could say this place is A-Maze-ING! Pun intended. My sister hosted her wedding here and I cannot say enough great things about this place! Coming from the city, this was a nice change of pace. I cannot wait to go back, that corral maze, wow! Especially fun at night!! We had friends and family come in from all over western Canada for this event, and we all had room to stay with comfort and privacy!

Stayed at the campground for a week, good water to fill up and ample power. Not much for shade. Near the ball diamonds, lots of grass for games and of course, the Lost Corral Maze. Outdoor shower, outhouses and lots of fun things to check out. Friendly staff makes for a great visit.

Great place for events! I was there for a wedding and the food and service were fantastic! The staff are friendly and facilities are nice. The western theme is unique and we had fun in the maze.

I didn't actually stay here...yet. I happened to come across this place while it for a drive. Absolutely wonderful people. Was allowed to explore and The Sheriff" also took us around as well. This place is fantastic!!!"

We went for a wedding and found the working farm and collection of historic buildings utterly charming! The Sheriff and his family run the place and are super friendly and will help you with anything you need. You can stay in a turn of the century house, the bunkhouses (bring pillows and blankets) or park an RV. There is a coffee and refreshment bar decked out in antiques as well as the large maze to get lost in. The goats, pigs, chickens and horses add to the ambiance as well as the old dog and many friendly cats and kittens. The Sheriff offered a short carriage ride to anyone after the bride and groom had their turn, you don't get to do that everyday! I will never forget pitchfork steaks!!!
